Our cozy, yet spacious cottage has everything for a relaxing getaway - lots of individual areas to retreat to and loads of lounging/seating space for groups to connect inside and out. There are board games, three large TVs with Netflix and cable, a firepit, grill, fully stocked kitchen, etc. Outdoor activities nearby: mountain biking, road biking, running on paved paths directly in front of the house, hiking and more! This house is 3k sq ft (we host a 4k sq ft. space nearby, "Haven Woods").

As frequent guests of other AirBnBs, this space has been carefully curated to include things we've loved along our own journeys - clean, modern spaces, all the amenities luxury hotels offer, and items we would want in our own home. This space has a mix of "modern farmhouse, mid-century, and Scandinavian" influences. Also, we have thought about the outdoor spaces and stuff for kids to enjoy (games as well as hang-out areas inside and out).
WINTER guests will enjoy:

Lakeshore Drive is one of the most desirable addresses in town. The home is close to beaches, parks, hiking, running, and biking paths, and between two other great beach communities (Grand Haven & Saugatuck). The yard is large enough for a bonfire, grilling out, yard games, and dining. Inside, there are 12 comfy beds with fresh linens. Also, three separate areas to gather with couches and TVs. Each of the three TVs has Netflix, YouTube, etc. as well as regular cable.
We are an active family and can provide information on parks, as well as running/biking routes. Want to know where to get the best ice cream or craft brew (coffee or beer)? We can point you in the right direction.

"The house was exactly as photographed. Such a quiet serene space for a quick getaway. One of the best features is the long dining room table. Excellent for sitting down and playing eating together, games or sitting and laughing as you connect with each other. The house was spotless with ample towels and items like sugar, salt & pepper and even some coffee to get you started until you get to the store! Thanks for a wonderful stay."

"This was our first time trying to stay in one large home with my parents, siblings, spouses, and children (8 adults, 7 children 1-10 y.o.), and Beth's house was a great place to do it. We could all fit at the dining room table. The older kids could go to the basement to watch a movie while the littles could nap upstairs and the adults could relax in the living room. All of the cars could fit in the driveway. Most importantly, we had everything we needed for a week together. The closest beach was a little too far for some of us to walk, so since we had to drive, Beth recommended Tunnel Park (4 minutes down the road) which was a great alternative with restrooms and a playground for the kids."

"Couldn’t ask for a better place to spend the week with my family from AZ, IN, & TX. The home is so wonderful, the young kids loved the big yard, the adults love spacious. it was close to the beach and had all the amenities that we needed. I can’t speak for all 13 other guest, but my bed was so comfortable! We didn’t need much, but Beth was responsive to our questions. I highly recommend this stay!"

"We had a great time! Everything was exactly as stated in the advertisement. There was plenty of room for 15 adults to hang out and everyone had plenty of room to sleep. The yard is plenty big for yard games and a fire. We didn’t have any issues with the neighbors. Everyone seemed really nice in the area. I would stay here again and I would recommend it to my friends and family as well."

We were 15 minutes or less from downtown holland, groceries, and popular restaurants. We would definitely recommend this home to any and all large groups."

"Beth and Tom are awesome hosts and we loved staying at their home in Holland. They were super willing to give me info on the area, to explain the layout of the house, and even to replace the dishwasher immediately when we realized the old one wasn't working properly. The house is an old cottage that has been fully remodeled to be comfortable and feel modern without losing the charm of the original structure. The beds and pillows were super comfy--that happens pretty rarely for me at an airbnb. The kitchen is well stocked (with a few exceptions which I will mention later), the furniture and decorations were super stylish and also well adapted to the house and the comfort of the guests. The huge bedroom with lots of beds is a very bright and attractive space. I guess the downside is that we had teenage kids/young adults so boys and girls weren't crazy about sleeping in the same room. It would be cool to be able to divide it somehow to give privacy to them. The beach they recommended was walking distance--a very nice feature for Holland. We loved all the trails and walking paths--next time we will rent bikes to get around more quickly. All in all it is a great rental."
